Dispensing

We dispense NHS prescription and wil give advice on how to get the most benefit from your medicines. We keep comprehensive stock of medicines and use a fast and efficient wholesaler service that enables us to prepare and complete prescriptions promptly.


Repeat Prescription Service

For patients that have prescribed medications on a regular basis will be entered on their doctors repeat prescription scheme. Meaning they can request for specific medicines when they have nearly ran out. We dispense NHS repeat dispensing which has been issued by the doctor. You can request for your repeat prescription directly through us. Either by calling us, dropping in a repeat form or by using our online repeat prescription service. You can find this by clicking Repeat Prescriptions in the green bar on the far right of this page.


Medical Containers

All medicines are dispensed in child resistant containers unless you request otherwise. Please remember: Keep all medicines out of reach and sight of children. Our pharmacist can advice you on safe storage of medicines.


Health Advice & Self-care

The pharmacist and our trained assitants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments, in private if required. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy lift, for example, advice on how to stop smoking or lead a healthy diet. If we do not think we are the best source of advice on particular topics we can direct you to other sources of advice which can.


Unwanted Medicines

Please return all unwanted medicines to the pharmacy where we can dispose of them safely.




 


Medicine Use Reviews

You can make an appointment with our pharmacist to discuss how you are getting on with your regular medicines. It will allow you to learn more about your medicines and ask any questions you may have, and if you are having any difficulties taking your medicines our pharmacist may be able to asist. Ask for more details on this service in our pharmacy.


NHS New Medicine Service

When you are prescribed a medicine to treat a long-term condition for the first time, the pharmacist will support you to use the medicine safely and to the best effect.

The Pharmacist will talk to you approximately two weeks after you first recieve the medicine to see how you are gettin on with it and to discuss any problems you may have. A second follow-up will be a month later. The service is only available to patients unsing certain medicines; our pharmacist will give you details and offer this free NHS service, if you are entitled to it.


Prescription Delivery Service

We offer a completely free prescription delivery service to ALL housebound patients within the area. Our dedicate delivery driver will deliver your prescription to your door when required. To find out more about this service give us a call!


Emergency Hormonal Contraceptive

We offer a completely confidential and discrete service of the morning after pill, our pharmacist will happily assist you objectively in one of our consultation rooms.

Sharps Disposal

We are one of the few places in Chesham that can accept your used Sharps such as needles. We have a black sharps bin behind the pharmacy where you can put your sharps bins into which are then safely disposed of.
 



















Blood Glucose/Pressure Testing

We offer free blood sugar and blood pressure testing between 4pm and 6pm, Monday - Friday. We conduct the tests privately within one of our consultations. One of our members of staff will be able to advise you on your results and help guides will be provided.


Stop Smoking

We offer stop smoking products. Our sales advisors can adise you on the most appropriate products for you! We stock the major Vapestick products, Nicorette, Nicocig


Clarins of Paris Stockists

We provide an large range of the Clarin's makeup and beauty products. Our specialised assistant can provide you with reccomendations and assistance on the products.
